RTA at Sea World
Royal Tots Academy went on a Field Trip to Sea World Ancol
North Jakarta, 12 Nov 2010 – It was so exciting for both the teachers and the children.
We experienced the handfeeding of sting rays and sharks by the divers. We asked many open ended questions like ” why do sea horses have to hang on by their tails?” and “what will happen to our ocean if we do not look after the rare and special creatures?”
RTA showed great courage by feeding turtles and were very inquisitive in the tunnel as the sea creatures swam over our heads. It was a very exciting day, we got to share it as a school family with Van Gough Class being leaders and helping Mozart and Koala classes.
The day began with a ride on a bus, we sang songs and laughed together. We finished our day with lunch. It was such a great day, but very tiring! On the way home on the bus most of the children went to sleep from the excitement of the day.
Miss Sandra was very proud of all the children and told them that she thought they were great leaders for Royal Tots Academy.
